The United Arab Emirates determines visa requirements by passport type. Turkish citizens holding a maroon (ordinary) passport need a visa to enter Dubai. The Dubai tourist visa is one of the easiest visas to obtain in terms of paperwork. The documents required are:
- Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from your return date; the photo page must be scanned in color. Passport details must exactly match your identity details.
- Biometric photo: Taken within the last 6 months on a white background (a digital copy is sufficient).
- ID card: The UAE immigration authorities may request a color scan of both sides of your Turkish ID card for some applications.
- Residence permit (foreign nationals): Foreign nationals living in Turkey need a residence permit valid for at least 6 months.
