Who Needs a Dubai Visa?
The United Arab Emirates determines the visa requirement based on passport type. Turkish citizens holding a maroon (ordinary) passport are subject to a visa when entering Dubai. Holders of special (green), service (grey), and diplomatic (black) passports are exempt from a visa for stays of up to 90 days; the only condition for entry with these passports is that the passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
| Passport Type | Visa Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Maroon (Ordinary) | Visa required | An e-visa must be obtained before travel |
| Green (Special) | Exempt for 90 days | Visa-free entry with a passport valid for 6 months |
| Grey (Service) | Exempt for 90 days | Visa-free entry for official travel |
| Black (Diplomatic) | Exempt for 90 days | Visa-free entry |
Important: The Dubai tourist visa may only be used for tourism purposes. Working, opening a business, or conducting commercial activity with this visa is prohibited; violations may result in fines and administrative sanctions affecting your future applications. If you plan to work or reside in Dubai, our Dubai Work and Residence Permit Visa service or our Get a Quote page can guide you to the right visa type.
Required Documents
The Dubai tourist visa is one of the visa applications processed with minimal documentation. The documents required for the application are as follows:
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from your return travel date; the photo identification page must be scanned in color. The information on the passport must exactly match your identity details.
- Biometric photo: A biometric photo with a white background taken within the last 6 months (a digital copy is sufficient).
- ID card: The UAE Immigration Office may request a color scan of both sides of your Turkish ID card for some applications.
- Residence permit (for foreign nationals): Applicants who are foreign nationals residing in Turkey need a residence permit valid for at least 6 months.
High-resolution, legible scans of your documents are the most important factor for first-time approval of your application. Simply send us your scans by email or phone; our team fills out your application form on your behalf and checks all information before submission.
Dubai Tourist Visa Types and 2026 Fees
Dubai tourist visas are categorized by length of stay (30 or 60 days) and number of entries (single or multiple entry). All tourist visas require the first entry into the country to take place within 60 days of approval. Single-entry visas become invalid the moment you exit the country; if you're planning multiple entries and exits within the designated period, you should choose a multiple-entry visa.
| Visa Type | Stay Allowance | Entry | 2026 Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30-Day Single Entry | Up to 30 days | 1 entry | 140 USD |
| 30-Day Multiple Entry | Up to 30 days | Unlimited | 160 USD |
| 60-Day Single Entry | Up to 60 days | 1 entry | 180 USD |
| 60-Day Multiple Entry | Up to 60 days | Unlimited | 300 USD |
| 48-Hour Transit | 48 hours | 1 entry | 150 USD |
| 96-Hour Transit | 96 hours | 1 entry | 135 USD |
Prices include VAT. Fees are current as of July 2026 and may change according to UAE Immigration Office fee updates; you can contact us or check the websites of the relevant official institutions for current rates. There are no hidden fees.
How to Apply? Step by Step
Your Dubai tourist visa application is made entirely online through World Company Setup. The process is completed in four steps:
- Choose your visa type: We determine the most suitable visa type for your travel plan together; for short holidays, the 30-day single-entry visa is usually the most economical option.
- Send your documents: Send a color scan of your passport and your biometric photo by email or phone. No further action is required from you.
- Let your application be processed: Our team submits your application to the UAE Immigration Office system the same day and keeps you regularly informed of your application status.
- Receive your visa by email: Your approved e-visa is sent to your email address as a PDF. You can travel by printing it out or showing it on your phone; this document is sufficient for entry at the airport.
You do not need to send your passport by courier for your visa application; the entire process is carried out remotely and your passport stays with you.
How Long Does a Dubai Visa Take?
Standard Dubai tourist visa applications are concluded within 24-48 hours; during busy periods this may extend up to 72 hours. Please note that the weekend in the United Arab Emirates is Saturday-Sunday, and applications made Friday afternoon may carry over to the next business day.
For urgent trips, our express processing service (+40 USD additional fee) gives your application priority processing. For a smooth process, we recommend submitting your application at least 7-10 days before your travel date.
Difference Between Single-Entry and Multiple-Entry Visas
A single-entry visa grants entry to the United Arab Emirates only once. Even if your visa period has not expired, your visa is cancelled the moment you exit the country; you'll need to obtain a new visa to re-enter. For example, if you spend 7 days in Dubai with a 30-day single-entry visa and return to Turkey, the remaining 23 days become invalid.
A multiple-entry visa, on the other hand, allows you to enter and exit as many times as you like during its validity period. A multiple-entry visa is the right choice for those transiting through Dubai to neighboring countries (Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia), those planning multiple trips at short intervals, and those visiting relatives living in Dubai periodically. If you're not sure which visa suits you, simply share your travel plan with our consultants.
